I've realized recently that I find their lipstick quite dry and drying on my lips. I happen to own several of their holiday lip palettes, and I'm not so happy about that. Seems like a waste of money now. Anyone else?

I totally agree. The lipstick dries out my lips.

I am addicted to Mac lipglass and now they have a new formulation that has more pigmentation and it lasts forever and isn't uber shinny, even though your hair still sticks to your lips in a nice wind!!! But I still love it. I wouldn't waste money on any lipstick. Just use a good liner pencil and fill your whole lip and then top it off with a nice lipglass!
Lancome has the best lip pencils, it is really smooth and goes on like a thick lip stick and stays on longer than any others that I have tried.
Good Luck

Me Too! I started wearing MAC a few years ago and bought a couple of the lipsticks. They totally dry out my lips, and aren't long lasting. I've also tried their gloss and found it too sticky. Their mascara is blah and not worth the expense. But I must say that I love MAC eyeshadow and liners.

I haven't had that problem with their lipsticks, but I always use a lipbalm or lip conditioner(from Avon) under my lipstick. The lip conditioner probably works the best because it's not to greasy & my lipstick still goes on good. Hope this helps.:)

I just purchased some from their online site about a month ago. I actually think it's some of the best lipstick I've tried in awhile. I like MAC's color selection a lot. Plus, they guarantee it, or you can send it back. At least, online, they will let you send it back for a full refund.

I recently tried a new type of lipstick they carry which is much more moisturizing than the old one. Not sure what it's called but the tube has a reddish border around it. It's much better.

AGREED. Mac's lipsticks have always been dry for me. There glosses are ok, but I don't prefer them because they get too sticky.
