Don't dye your hair brunette if your natural blonde or the colour suits you just cause people are stereotyping. If you dye your hair brunetter and then change your mind it'll take you ages to get it back to blonde again!
Just think before you do anything.

just because you're blone it doesn't mean you are an airhead! don't worry about the colour of your hair, live with what you have and be proud of it. although if you feel you would like to be brunette, go for it, girl! it is the new blonde after all!

BLondes may have more fun, but brunettes remember it the next day!!
Just Kidding, why dont you try a honey colour which is like a really light brown first, you might not suit a darker colour!

Im sure you look good as you are. If your boyfriend is happy with it then you should be too. People put stereotypes on people all the time be it blonde or not.

im blonde and my way of getting past the small minded people who sterotype is to always be myself. im an intelligent female that has many aspirations in life and i wont let men nor small minded women put me down. being blonde is great! you can come across as being innocent and dizzy but at the same time be intellectual and successful. dont change your hair colour because of sterotypes, people that dismiss you or look down on you are a waste of time anyway.

I'm a natural blonde and i bought a kit where you dye your hair and then put the highlights in i chose a nice brown colour so it wasn't to drastic and it has turned out lovely and has been a nice change..so i say go for it

i think that you shouldn't just go completely brunette, just because of a stereotype. if you want to change the color, just go with brunette highlights, that will help take away from the blond a little, but still keep your natural color

PROS
brunettes are much more respected than blondes
brunettes have way more fun
brunettes are considered very sexy as opposed to blondes who are just pretty(as i've heard)
your avatar has green eyes and brown hair with green eyes is super gorj
people who know you will give you more attention like saying stuff like "i love what you did with your hair!" stuff like that
CONS
i dont know
maybe you would be damaging your hair or something
by the way. im not trying to be mean to blondes but you know what they say:
guys date blondes but they marry brunettes!
LOL

If i were you first, I would reconsider of aksing myself that question and not these critters on this website page. You won't get the best results. think about how you feel with it. don't ask these people. People like to make fools out of other people. Some do and some don't just hope you get good results. And good luck on your new look!

you should do it if you want to do it, not cos of what you think people are going to say and take you for.
Plus if you go brunette it will be a complete change for you, plus you will need to keep getting it dyed all the time as there will be roots, plus if you get fed up with it you will need to grow it out.
Take it from me, i was blond for years, now i have decided to go back to my normal color which is natural dark brown, i had to get my hair dyed back to a dark color now i have to wait for that to grow out so that i will have my natural color back, eventually, phew.
What i would suggest for you is to get yourself a wash out dye that lasts for say 15 washes, if you don't like it you can always go back to you're normal, cos it will be once you have had you're 15 washes..lol
Good luck
