I am a man with extremely tight curls. Individual hairs look like corkscrews and are flat rather than round. African hair forms flat spirals, which is not like mine - I know, I had an African flatmate once. I have no African ancestors but this runs in the family. A cousin who has identical hair had hers straightened on a hot humid day and the treatment only lasted a few hours. Neither I, my mother nor two of my cousins have ever had a decent hairstyle because of this and it looks as if it's going into the next generation. Help?

Please help! Everytime I shave my legs which is about once a week I cut myself and the blood doesnt try for a good hr or two. This means on a night out I have to change my outfit and put on jeans. I dont want to wax as the hairs are never long enough. I have tried all shaving foam and sensitive razor blades but nothing works. I want to have nice smooth legs not sore legs with blood stains. Any suggestions please. many thanks

I got a very nice woolen jumper for xmas and washed it under the instructions, wool wash and washed alone, it is now very tight and i have to keep stretching it out throught the day so it fits...

Is there any way of returning it to its original shape..

I have an oval face shape (Proffesionally measured) My cheeks are a little bit chubby (not too much) - I have an average body - a little bit of puppy fat here and there. The story:
I had some bits of my hair dyed a dark purply colour about 6 months ago. Since then it has faded to a nasty orange. I went to my usual hairdresser on friday evening to have my highlights done and asked her if there was a way of getting rid of the orangey bits.. She said she could bleach them with the rest of my hair, but they would go honey rather than platinum. Instead of my usual fine higlights, fo some reason she put bleach on all of my hair in big chunks and turned it a yellowy colour. The bits that were orange are now salmon pink and you can see lines all through my hair where she put the foils. I could have done a better job myself.
Anyway, my hair is fuzzy and dry due to the bleaching and I don't want any more bleach. I have used 3 loads of ash toner to make it look less yellow but it still looks awful.
I think the best thing to do is go brown (my natural colour is a dark blonde) what should I do?

The water in our area is very hard (magnesium content is very high). shampoo and using hair conditioner does not help and the hair become very dry and rough after the wash. I donot use any oil on the hair. Any solution other than using the RO water or bying the mineral water. Otherwise my hair are normal.and they behave nicely when they are washed at somebody else's home
