Beauty & Style - 17 January 2007

I was born 26 years ago, and my mother and father were both very ugly people, needless to say i am also a very ugly person. I am so ugly that one person on seeing me turned to stone.. I have come to terms with being ugly, but my girl freind who came runner-up in the miss world contest thinks a bit of cosmetic surgery would not go amiss..At the moment i go for a drink down the pub with a halloween mask on, because i get a lot of stick without the mask....also get some stick with it on ,especialy in the middle of summer...Now what i want to know is do i go under the knife or should i live with what nature as bestowed on me...Im basicly an happy chappie but there are times i get a little depressed......When i was a child my parents wanted to release me into the Amazon jungle, they thought i would be at home there,instead i went to Oxford university .. I await any sugestions

i want to know what the best clear LIPGLOSS is.preferably one that may be MOISTURIZING or nourishing to the lips and does not have an AWFUL TASTE. also id prefer it to be a SPONGE TIP applicatior and not a tube lip gloss.

OK, so i bought some really comfy / sweat pants last week from aeropostal. the small size was too tight, so i bought the medium. i hand washed the pants cause i didnt want the legs to shrink. my question is, how in the world to i shink the waist size?? there not huge on me, but its just a little big around the waist, and i DONT want to shrink the legs to make them shorter. ive already tied the waist band, but there still just a little too big. i dont want to return them for the small, cause those were just a little too tight. is there any possible way to shrink the waist size down and keep it down? seriuos answers please!! I have absolutely no self-confidence. Since I was little, I was told I was ugly and horrible and I'd never get a boyfriend. I had excema on my face all the time and I was fat.

Now I'm 15. I'm 5ft 8, weigh 8.5 st and have blonde hair/hazel eyes. The excema has gone, and I get the odd spot.

I still feel ugly all the time though. All my friends say I look pretty, but the guys in school have different opinions. Their comments are the things that get me down about myself and make me believe I'm ugly. Still, all my friends have boy-friends, (mostly long term ones) and I'm pretty much the only single one. This makes me think that even more so.

Is there anything I can do to get my self-confidence back?

Seriously appreciated, I've had to live with feeling like this for 11 years now.

My hair right now is a medium red. What at-home coloring brand should I try? Every time I try to dye it blonde, it works for about a day or two and then it fades back to it's original color. I can't afford to go to the salon, so don't even bother telling me that.

I'd like to give my girlfriend a nice quality flip flop pendant for Valentine's Day. So far, I have seen nice ones in the Na Hoku store (online it is nahoku.com). However, they only have one or two pendants under $80.

Does anyone know of a store (dept. store, jewelry store, anywhere) that sells nice quality (under $80) flip flop pendants?

I have checked Nordstrom and Bloomingdale and Neiman Marcus websites without success...
