If ever I called a female a Barbie doll, it would mean that her value only increases with age. She is beautiful but not perfect. Show me who you really are inside. However, I do not compare real females to such a lifeless object. All dolls are inferior to the living being. It seems that who and with what tone is used is a clue to the interpretation of it.

if someone called you a barbie doll than they could be insulting you by saying that you're fake or that you look good on the outside but you dont have anything on the inside it depends on how they said it to you

Yes, it means, "are you real?" Like you probably wear too much make-up or are just too perky. Most of the time, it's if you get so dressed up everyday and are really happy all the time. Just sayin.

It depends who said it to you.. If it was a friend then they are referring to you as beautiful. Most of the time when guys say that that means your beautiful. If there is someone you arent close to they are telling you that you are fake.......but dont worry i've been called that alot.....by guys and other peeps it normally means they envy you.

I depends on how they said it. If they said it rudely and were talking about your personality then me personally would take it as a insult, now if they were saying it nicely and were talking about your body then go celebrate!!
