I just dyed my hair around 2 1/2 hours ago. Its completely dry, and I guess its had enough time to set in.

Is it okay to straighten it? Or should I wait longer?

[If the color matters, its a dark , almost purpleish red.]

i hear all the time that 100% cotton can shrink with ease. It seems logical that something 97% cotton would shrink as well, but i'm thinking maybe that 3% of spandex might hold it together.

I'm an african american, with really really really really curly hair (kinda nappy) and I was wondering if there were any products out there that could make my hair softer and have less tangled curls like mixed people.
