I'm getting the cartilage of my ear pierced but im not sure what kind of earring to get.
Are there special ones for it or can i use any regurlar earring?
And what are bars?

i am a 16 year old female who finds crossing her legs very comfotable. but when i was around 8 my grandmother told me crossing my legs isnt good. so my mom who does it nearly all the time i had to stop her but rarely my dad. then i did some research of my own and i found out that crossing your your legs isnt bad unless done for long periods of time. so i tried crossing my legs and found it very comfortable. now i cross my legs nearly all the time, except when im at home around my parents cause i still feel weird to cross my legs infront of them. what should i do to make myself more comfortable crossing my legs around my parents?

i have naturally dirty blonde hair and usually get it cut in long layers.. i have seen where girls have gotten the layers underneath dyed dark brown and i thought it looked realy cool and i have been thinking about getting it done.. but i don't know what is the best way to get my hair cut to do this.. if you have any opinions please let me know and if you think it's a bad idea i want to know that too. i just don't want to screw up my hair. thanks.

Hey whats up! I am black or african american but I am really light. Lighter than Beyonce. And I have green eyes and golden brown hair. I saw this girl on Degrassi that was black and sort of like me and she had blond streaks in her hair. Like where her bangs are. I think it looks really cute but Im not sure every one agrees with me. I would only streak or die parts of my hair. Small parts! Probley around my bangs or around there. And I think it would be nice. Is that fine? And my hair is not black its a golden brown type color. My hair is very thick and quite poofy. it's about 5 inches past my shoulder (when dry) and is FULL of curly baby hairs. i was thinking to get it relaxed or straightened but i don't know the difference between the two. I got my hair cut on one side the side that was damaged and i left the other side long i can't manage short hair so after two days my hair is messed up it has grown out enough to wear braids but when i take the braids out it is still short any suggestions on products for african american hair that will make my hair grow back faster i have heard of products such as doo grow and dr. miracles but i want my hair back by may or june or at least a nice bob length any ideas on how to manage it and keep it healthy and make it grow.

I recently got my hair highlighted and absolutly hate it! Its orange and brassy looking and i hate that look. the reason im sooo mad is because i specifically told her that i do not want it to look orange or brassy! ughhh!
anyway, my problem is that Im moving in two days and my hairstylist is out of town until jan. 1st.
What do i do? Should i just call them and have someone else fix it? will they? will they charge me again?
are they going to be mad or annoyed with me if someone else has to fix the problem? i cannot continue going out with my orange head! Please someone let me know what to say to the salon or what to do?
