how do you make like loose curls and waves with a straightner without having to make several attempts? please provide step by step instructions that show where on the strand to put the straightener and which direction to turn and all that. I would appreciate it greatly! thanks!

okay, so I have brown, straight hair, that's like medium thick and like right at the bottom of my rib cage. And i want it to be like wavy, i want it to look like Vanessa hudgens in her CD, V. So, my question is, how do I get my hair to look like hers? without like getting something permanent or done at the hairdressers, because, I have to get my hair done tomorrow morning, early and I dont have time to get it done like professionally......thanks in advance

I have a roundish short face with thick black curly/wavy hair that goes an inch below my shoulder. my skin tone is white almost pale but not really. I straighten my hair alot and either wear it down or in a pony tail. however, im getting really bored of it and need some new ideas. I have a starightener and a curling iron. if you have any ideas with instructions, that'd be great. I was thinking of getting a slight brown tint of highlights maybe, but i still need new ways to style my hair other than straightening it and leaving it down or putting it in a ponytail. thaanks!

I have pretty fair skin and I think I may want to dye my hair a light brown (it’s a light blonde right now). I’m not sure if it will look ok because my skin is so light and also do you think its ok to dye my hair at home or would it be better to get it professionally done. 2 years ago I straightened my hair. I had really pretty long thick spiral curls but i wanted to try straight. Of course I liked it and baught a flat iron and straightened my hair everytime i went out. Now I realize that I dont have half as much hair as i did two years ago and im sure its because of the damage im doing. I want to go curly again but when i let it air dry, it only gets nappy, not curly and not straight. Should I perm it and get the same kind of curls as my natural hair and just let it grow out? What is my best bet?
