I have pretty fair skin and I think I may want to dye my hair a light brown (it’s a light blonde right now). I’m not sure if it will look ok because my skin is so light and also do you think its ok to dye my hair at home or would it be better to get it professionally done. Also how long does temporary dye last?

It should look very complimentary to your skin color.I see nothing wrong with doing it at home.I have heard that the salon is the best place to get it done but I have no idea of the cost. At least if you do it at home, you won't be paying as much money.Anywhere from $5.99 to $12.99.

try the temporary one first it last thru a couple hair washings but this way you aren't commited to the color in case you don't like it. You can do it at home it's much cheaper especially if you have long hair, you can get someone to help you dye your hair at home.

Its best to get it done professionally, that way she or he will be able to advise you if your not sure of the colour suiting you, and your hair has a less chance of getting damaged and dry if its done professionally. As for Temporary (semi permanents, tone on tone, or rinses) the lasting time varies. good luck.

definately do it at hom. its just brown..its not like your going blonde and its going to turn orange. going to the pros for brown dye is gonna cost u big $$ and you will have to get your roots touched up a lot. do it yourself. i think temporary dye lasts a weeks to months.
