It depends where you go. If you go to a very good professional, the pain is minimum. If you go to a cheap salon, it is really going to hurt.
Ok for armits, just wear a tank top that when you raise your arms, you can see your armpits completely. For legs, wear shorts or pants that can be raised up all the way. For a bikini wax they make you stay in your panties.
Ok so to prevent the red bumps after shaving, put hot water and moisterizer on your pubic area or bikini lines and then let it sit. Then you can shave but dont keep going over the same area. Afterward, put cold water on to close the pores and put baby powder to keep it fresh. Then wear shorts or pants so your area doesnt rub against your legs etc.
If you go to a salon to get waxing, you should not get any bumps.
HOPE THIS HELPED AND HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!

An experienced esthetician can perform waxing with minimal discomfort. There are new brands of wax that are less irritating on the skin. Some women have allergies to the wax, and sometimes it is applied too hot and burns a little.
The strips that are applied with the wax are placed on areas where you want the hair removed and then pulled off quickly. The process removes the hair follicle too the root. There might be a little redness after the procedure, especially if you haven't been waxed in that area before, but there are soothing gels that are applied immediately afterward and within minutes the redness disappears and there are no bumps. The more you wax, the longer it takes for the hair to grow back, or so it seems, and it doesn't itch as much as if you shave.
Bikini does hurt a bit, but it's well worth it, and all depends on the person.

I have gotten a Brazilian wax two times. The first time I went to an extremely experienced esthetician who used something that seemed more like a cream than a wax, although the procedure was that of a waxing. The pain was minimal and I really didn't have any irritation. She gave me some paper panties to wear for modesty's sake, and when it came time for her to wax my intimate areas, she snipped off the strings to the panties and that was that. However, the second time I got a Brazilian, I went to a different salon that uses strip-less wax. That means she put hot wax on my bikini area and waited a few seconds, then ripped the wax straight off my body. I have never had so much pain down there in my life! Not to mention I was just coming off my period, which the lady said causes you to be more sensitive. She also didn't have any panties for me to wear, so I had to lay a towel over me. I think it really just depends on where you go and how experienced the waxer is. It will hurt, though, but the good thing is that when the hair grows back, it's smoother because when you shave, you clip the hair off straight across so it grows back stubbly, but when you wax the hair grows back in like it's the first time the hair has grown, so the tip of the hair is soft!

brazillian wax isn't an entire physique wax. i think i will comprehend why they consult from it like that nonetheless. the unique which means is a vaginal wax. A brazillian wax is the finished decrease section and not such with the aid of fact the legs. Mabe some spas refer leg+decrease region+different physique hair as a equipment "the brazillian wax." even nonetheless the actual wax is ment to consult from the only one decrease region. The brazillian wax takes to the air all the hair and thats the place they are able to pass flawed to boot...

I always wondered why wax when it is so painful? Can't you just use a hair removing lotion?
