i kno this is in the wrong category but the other categories arent working for me. im in the 8th grade and i like this 7th grader? i think he might like me. should i ask him out or would it be weird and too awkward? also, if i should, how should i do it? note, someone else do it, in person?

OK the first thing, this happened to me too, except for I am in grade seven and I liked a sixth grader. It was very weird, I agree with you on that part!!!! But really its your choice if you want to ask him out or not....yes there will be gossip and stuff but you're just going to have to live through it. Who knows if it's going to be weird between you two? The only way to do it is to try. Also the way of asking him out? FACE TO FACE. NEVER get your friend to do it! It just doesn't work......its like saying to the person "I'm too shy to talk to you....I'm also a little unsure if I want to go out or not." If you want to ask someone out, namely this seventh grader, then do it face to face, and ask him yourself. Good luck!!!
P.S.....Wouldn't Singles work for the category?

I think if you like this person you should ask him out. You should st ask him out as i if you were asking anyone else out. Tip: find any 7th grader you know and see if they would be willing to go on a double date.

Liking someone a grade younger then you is no problem. At your age, most guys like girls slightly older then them, anyway, because they seem more 'developed'. It'll make him happy to know that a more mature person likes him!
Do it yourself. I say you have a little party at your house, or have one of your friends have one, and invite him--and ask him to go out with you when you two are at the party. Pretty romantic setting! ^_^

Why not? You should do it...Doing it is alot better than being on here asking what you should do...You should just go right up to him and ask him to hangout or to go eat...The word "no" is not that bad...I mean what do you have to lose?

um i dnt think u should ask hem out i wouldnt but its all on u or if u want 2 ask hem out BUT 2 go eat or movies or tell hem if he wants 2 hang out

first of all you are to young to date and you need to study as much as posible.. after all he's younger than you and probably not ready for a girlfriend yet.. wait a couple of years to get a boyfriend, take it slow . it'll be there when it's time for you to date..
