My Mom says I should stop dressing like a teenager. I have a nice figure and like to show it off! I also like to dress in popular brands like Hollister. I shop in stores like Abercrombie, Gap, and Limited Express. I like low cut tops. I don't have kids and don't have a job that requires me to look professional! Does it really matter how I dress? I feel good in what I wear and I think that's what counts.

OK I'm at Uni in the UK, hoping to become involved in custom bike/car builds (ie, custom paintjobs), was told best way to get experience was to get a few hours a week in a tattoo parlour. I've found one near me, a big guy that works on his own out of a little place on the High Street, but was wondering if it was the 'done' thing to ask for unpaid experience in a tattoo parlour?

Of course I wouldn't want paying, and I'd be happy to just answer the phone/ make tea etc etc.

Any ideas? Thanks!

Whenever i put foundation in like 10 mins its all gone from my face...how can i make sure it stays on for at least a couple of hours....?

I got my eyebrow pierced about 8 months ago...I had a barbell in but decided to change it (although prematurely) because it didn't appear to be healing...So I put a captive bead in..I might just be paranoid but it might be migrating out..Is migration after 8 months normal, and if so, how long do ya'll think I'd have to wait to repierce it???

Just curious what people think about this?

I don't get on with people at my uni cos they consider me a freak/goth (they told me this, how nice!). It isn't true, I love goth style but I so aint there.

I wear a leather short jacket which classes me as a goth, as did the bright red hair last year! I've had other people say it just cos of the tees I wear and the black hair.

But more my point is, will you judge someone from purerly what they wear? Cos I can dress from funk-cute and all the way in between, so you judge me on what I am wearing one day and you miss out on a lot!

I don't give a stuff about uni peeps btw, they obviously aren't worth knowing :)

Face it, ALL women could use makeup. There's no reason to look like a crack whore. I look completely natural w/makeup. But why not improve your appearance if you can? Every woman I know who says they don't wear makeup because they prefer the "natural look" could definitely use some. You still need makeup to pull off a natural look. I think when you wear makeup and have your hair nice and dress nice, it shows you care about your appearance and shows confidence.

I have a lot of trouble visaulising clothes that would look good on my "apple shape"
