I'm 16 yr old girl with a very oily skin. I was once exposed to sun and so the uncovered part of my body that is my face became dark. My friends make fun of me and so I want to gain a fair skin again. How do I do so without using any cream or cosmetics but by using a natural remedy? Please help.

Your friends are not your friends if they're making fun of you on account of your skin colour. It's just a tan, and tans fade with time. Don't worry about i! Don't go and apply any lightning creams unless they're herbal, 'cos chemicals will lead to patchiness when you hit the late 20s. Why do people rave about Halle Berry, Beyonce, and Naomi Campbell? In India, why is Sheetal Mallar and Nina Manual such well-paid models if they were so dark?

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, girl. Having fair skin is not gonna make EVERYBODY love you.

i think you need good cleansing
Cleansing is the first essential step in your daily skin care routine.
Cleansing the face 2-3 times a day; is adequate for normal skin. If your skin is oily a more frequent cleansing i.e. 4-5 times a day is necessary. If your skin is dry it is best to avoid frequent washing and you may have to use a suitable oil-based cosmetic cleanser instead of soap, which has a dry effect.
There are several alternatives to soap and water cleansing. Cleansers can be in the form of creams, milks, lotions, gels and liquids. All are, a mixture of oil, wax and water which have been formulated to suit different skin types. A cotton -pad dipped in fresh milk available at home, is an equally effective cleanser.
The right way to apply cleansers and creams on your face is in an upward and outward movement. The skin should not be stretched, dragged or pulled. Leave the cleanser on for a minute or two so as to loosen the dirt and make up. Remove it either using a cotton wool or with a tissue paper, again using an upward and out ward movement. Finally rinse with water.
for the tan you can use a natural therapy

tomato is best you can apply tomato pulp every night and this will help reduce the tan effect

Your friends are the ones we are laughing at.... Who on earth are they to make fun out of you because you are dark. Honestly you people have this obssesion with becoming fair..why dont you go over to your friends and punch each and everyone of them with a knuckle duster. hehe . Its your features that matter at the end of the day not your skin colour.

You should read Laura Jefferson’s book "Skin Whitening At Home" ( I saw it's also available in electronic format +video: http://www.skinwhiteningathome.com ). After 8 weeks I managed to get my skin a few tones whiter and I also got rid of freckles.

The method she teaches in her book is natural, inexpensive, and is readily available in most homes. You could even find some ingredients in your own backyard. The most wonderful thing about the method she shares in her book is that it will help you whiten or lighten your skin pigmentations, freckles, age spots, acne marks, dark underarms, melasma, or your overall skin color easily and naturally without breaking your bank or producing dangerous side effects. Good Luck!
