here's all i've got. i'll keep it brief.
my parents were picking me up from university my freshman year and i had a friend walking me to the car... possibly the sweetest person i've ever met to this day.
my dad couldn't hustle me away from her fast enough, put off by the color and length of her hair, the pierced septum (among other bits), and the general 'funky nature' of the rest of her garb. he'd never met her. never talked to her. didn't know a thing about her. he just couldn't deal with her overall appearance.
my mother, on the other hand, was about 85% blind at this point and couldn't see this girl worth a damn. she just listened to her talk and using that super mom sense discerned in only a few minutes what an outstanding individual she was.
on the drive home, she brought this up to my dad who replied, 'yeh, but did you see how she was dressed?' to which my mom responded, 'i didn't have to.'
so there's that. and to blazes with people who can't see past things like outward appearance and choose to judge you on the fly. don't need 'em.

Well, there is no getting around the fact that a person's first impression of you is what they see (unless they are blind).
I assume that people usually wear a certain style of clothing, dye (or don't dye) their hair, and wear (or don't wear) jewelry because they believe that by cultivating a certain look they create a certain impression on others -- otherwise you wouldn't care what you wore, nor spend so much time, money, or effort picking out clothes. So it works both ways. If you know that most people judge you based on a small thing (like an ugly earring, for example), then it is not too difficult to get rid of that one thing, if you know that that's the one thing that is bothering some people.
On the other hand, some people are really shallow, and won't give you a chance to prove that you are nice. Who cares about them!

Unfortunately people do very much so judge you on what you wear-regarding clothes it is exactly judging a book by its cover, that why dressing appropriately for interviews is important. First impressions represent to people something about your character even if your dress may also misinform them. You could use it to your advantage and shock the life out of them by wearing something glamorous just to make the statement- I can dress when I feel like to. Have their jaws hanging on the ground he he! That will keep them quiet lol!

Unfortunately, our vision is clouded by the stereotypes that society has labeled us all with. A soldier in uniform is always cruel to Arabs, no matter where he is or what he does. Someone with black lipstick or nail polish is always a goth or a punk, regardless of what they consider themselves, and so on and so forth. If someone is willing to judge you solely upon what you wear without ever having spoken a word to you, than they're the ones who are missing out, not you, and it shouldn't bother you in the least.

Hmm I don't think judging is the right word... more like assuming how someone is. I mean if someone wears baggy clothes and loads of jewelry i'd assume they're rappers haha but that won't be judging them. Maybe they just think that they won't get along with you cause of your beliefs or the music you're into. Clothes say a lot about people but you should never pre-judge someone without knowing them.

they're stripped bare, then put in a COOLER, not a freezer. whilst the Coroner's workers get time, the carry out an post-mortem -- the learn the physique for wounds or bruises. they cut back the physique open and do away with the organs (inclusive of the thoughts) and weigh and degree them. They take small samples and deliver them for Toxicology exams. They cut back open the tummy to work out what the affected person final ate. They cut back open veins to work out of the affected person had "hardening of the arteries" Then. they positioned the organs back and stitch up the physique. be conscious, that in case you die in a well being facility, and a doctor certifies the reason of dying, ALL of it is not needed. From the well being facility, they deliver you directly to the Funeral dwelling house, which applies make as much as make you look stable, and that they gown you with a set of clothing that your loved ones delivers.

No....as long as your changing up....you will be ok....all the guys I know...want me to wear different styles!! The only time my current guy said anything to me was when I took a week off from work to redecorate my apartment. I kinda just did the grunge thing for four days in a row. He asked if I could change so his eyes would stop hurting...LOL

I think clothes can say something about your personality, but people sometimes misinterpret it. I don't like dressing up like everyone else and then people think I'm trying to show off or something like that, but actually I just like being individualistic.
As they get to know me better, it's funny to see how they're opinions of me change. Personally, I don't really care what people think of the way I dress and the way I am as long as they keep it to themselves.

It is sad but true in todays society you are judged based upon what you wear and what you look like. My suggestion is be yourself. Dont change what you believe and like just for others. You will see that in the long run you will feel better about yourself.

Clothes doesn't put me off at all although being smart is a must. There's really no point of brand names. The point of fashion is to express one's individuality, not to belong to a group of people. everybody is different in mind so everyone can be different in appearance.
