I bind carpet and make area rugs - some with inset designs - fish, palm trees, etc. I'd like to learn how, or if it's possible to inset a photograph on an area rug. Any suggestions?

I don't mean for like weddings or small stuff, but like sports photographers.
I took a class in photography last year, and I really liked it, but I dont have any room left in my schedule to take more advanced courses.

-- no, not porn.

lol..... if you had to choose one kind of photograph what would it include?
please be descriptive. Animals? landscape? a kid playing dressup? what else is there? What kind of surroundings? What kind of color contrast?-- dramatic (black and white)? or softer (blue and yellow)

-- in other words if you were judging a photography contest what kind of uniqueness would you look for?

They use hundreds of different pictures to make one big one. You can only tell that they are made of pictures up close but from a distance you can't tell.

My favorite hobby is to take pictures and I think I'm very good at it. I mean, I take very good pictures (I have been told so by many people). My dream is to work as a photographer but I have no idea how to start. Any ideas or experiences? I live in the U.S.
Thanks!

A friend gave me her brother's old view camera, but I don't know how to use it. He had used it almost daily until passed away 2 years ago. There's no paperwork with it, and I haven't been able to find a brand name on it. With it are a couple of boxes of 4x5 Ilford film. I love taking photos with my Minolta (film), but I'm fascinated with the view camera. Can someone out there please tell me how to use it or where I can find instructions? THANK YOU!!

Google picasa is a Google's photo software. It's what should've come with your camera.

It can Edit , organise and Share you picture.

It's very easy to use and is free, just like Google

What do you think of Google picasa ?

Thanks!

I'm willing to spend around $1000, so something in that general price range. It has to be digital. I don't really know what is a good deal, what brand and everything that I should go with, or if I should buy it online or in a store? All advice and suggestions are welcome :)

Lets see if I can word this in a way that will not be a violation. . . .

I would like to know how much would you charge for say 30 nude photos of yourself to be posted on the internet? I have seen alot of websites and the standard set seems to be 30. I was just currious as to how much people pay for these photos. Be aware that I DO NOT WISH TO BUY THEM, SEE THEM, OR BE ASSOCIATED WITH THEM IN ANY WAY. I just want to know what the average person would charge. . . . . .

I was listening to the Digital Photography Tips from the Top Floor podcast #121 (found at http://www.tipsfromthetopfloor.com/2006/05/11/tfttf121-secrets-of-my-camera-bag/ ) and host / photographer Chris Marquardt said he uses cigarette paper as a low-cost alternative for cleaning dust off his lens because it is soft and lint-free. However, on Lifehacker, I read a user response (found at http://lifehacker.com/software/how-to/how-to-clean-an-lcd-monitor-179659.php ) about cleaning LCD screens. He said: "I suggest you do NOT use a paper towel or even soft toilet paper. Paper products contain micro particles of wood and will cause tiny scratches that you may not see, but will be harmful." Would cigarette paper have that same problem? What are some low-cost alternatives if it's not safe to use?
