I'm not talking about simple baby pictures or pics of friends to show family.... I mean something for more professional photographs that an amatuer would like to share with other photographers, that they could comment on....?

i am studying cyanotypes, and have made a lot of my own, however i have come across websites that sell "sunprint paper" does anyone know what this is, what it was used for, who invented it, is it a form of cyanotype. is it just ready coated cyanotype paper

i have purchased a packet of it yet it does not tell me the chemicals used in the making of the paper.

the main questions i need answered are

who invented it? i know for a fact it isnt john herscel (the inventor of cyanotype)

when was it invented?

for what purpose was it invented ?

surely this medium has a lotmore artistic merit that just tobe marketed for kids

i have a feeling that ths paper is pottassium ferricyanide paper (pre coated cyanotype paper) i just need confirmation

any help would be AMAZING!

THANKYOU

I am ready to throw the photo paper out. Should I or would it be of any value to someone?

I've been a proffessional phtographer for 2 years now but I've never worked out how apertures in camera lenses work. If I look at one of my lenses. I can see the aperture getting bigger and smaller inside when I turn the aperture ring. But how does the aperture reduce the amount of light going through the lens without 'cropping' the picture?

Most books I've seen don't fully explain terms like f-stop, ISO, and aperture, and how each changes your picture. If anything, books usually just touch on each subject, or assume you already know the definition and effect of these terms.

Photography for Dummies is not a good choice.

Most books focus on photography in general, but not specifically on taking headshots.

I'm trying to create 360 tours with a nikon coolpix8400, and ArcSoft panorama maker....It's not producing anything of good quality. Do I need better software or equipment? I need some advise.

i recently got adobe photoshop cs2, and its all greek to me!
lately i've taken up photography and photo editing as a hobby, and i want to make it a more serious interest for me.
i think i started out too advanced w/ cs2 w/o really knowing the basics of abode or photo editing.

so my question is what software/ free downloads (of adobe or anykind) would be ideal to give me a good basics foundation.
i jumped right into the hard stuff w/o learning teh beginners level yet.
so, what can i use???

thx,
brionna
