I am ready to throw the photo paper out. Should I or would it be of any value to someone?

If you have kept it under proper conditions it may still be usable. I would develop a few sheets and see what they produce. If you get good quality images, then your paper is fine. If you still don't want it donate it to a local school or university with a photography program....That's a lot of photo paper to just throw away.

I guess the main question is how outdated is it?

Even if kept under the best conditions, it's still only good for so long. Call around to local professionals who use it and offer to sell it to them at a low price. Explain it's outdated and by how long (be honest) and see what they offer for it.

Was it kept under good conditions?? Why don't you use it? Have you tried and did it fail you?
