My printer is just not cooperating. I dont know what Im doing wrong! I have an HP 8450. I wonder if Im using the wrong settings. Also, what if I dont want the photo to be 4 by 6, or 8 by 10, etc.? How do I choose for instance, 8 by 6? Why are the printed photos not detailed at all like the one I see on the computer?

I bought two small ceramic cats from a gift shop - designer and manufacturer unknown. I have photographed these in a still-life setting then enhanced the work digitally with Photo Shop, adding further drawn and photographed images of my own to complete the work. I would like to sell the prints in a local gallery. How do I stand with regard to copyright ? Thanks in advance.

One of my pictures on flickr was used by an extremist right wing party for political propaganda without my permission. Can I sue them?

Do photographers develop their own film? I know ones like Ansel Adams did, but what about like fashion photographers?

I urgently need some advice. I start a photography course tomorrow and still haven't bought a camera.

I'm down to choosing between the Nikon D50 and the Pentax *ist DL.

Basically, I think the Nikon takes better pictures which I suppose ultimately is the most important thing, but I just hate the body...it's too big and heavy. I much prefer the Pentax in that way, and I'm told it is a good (and cheaper) alternative.

Which should I buy?! Thanks!

Is there any way I can use and old digital camera, say Olmpus C1, as a monitor? Can you feed the video signal into the camera by modifying it? I need to mount the camera some way away but view the screen outside so a proper TV monitor is not practical
