You can for sure get them back. If you go to download.com and search for "data recovery" you will get some free programs to try. You will need a card reader of course (Im not sure if I would hook my camera directly into my computer while running the program).

I dealt with this same problem a few months back. The problem was, the free program I used only found about 1/3 of my pictures. But once I bought the program, it found every one of them. Good luck!

As long as you don't reformat the card you should be able to run a recovery tool. When you delete files all you do is erase the name of the file and its location, the data stays in place until a new file is written in the same spot.

Take your camera to one of those little photo machines in the drug stores...or at a camera shop. If you did not format the memory card, they will still show up when you load it on this machine.

i've never done this myself, so i'm not sure if/how it works...but supposedly there is software out there that can recover lost/damaged/deleted files on memory cards. do a search on 'photo recovery software' or maybe 'photo retrieval software' and you might be in luck.

i don't want to get your hopes up, but this might work.

If the pictures are stil on the memory card you could try loading them again.

As far as I know, you can not get them back.
