I'm sending in my pictures online to Elite Model Management (www.elitemodel.com) , and in the picture submission, there is no SUBMIT button. When I press close window, does it mean that the pictures are sent? PLEASE HELP!!! I have tried calling Elite Model to ask them about this, but they aren't open.

PS. Has anyone ever experienced this problem? If you have, how did you send in your pics online?

PPS. Has anyone ever been accepted? If so, did they call/contact you in any way?

THANKS!

I remember seeing a guy on TV in the UK in (probably) the 80s. He'd taken a series of photographs all with the theme '143', after the Minot Lighthouse, which flashes in that pattern and which has long been interpreted as saying 'I love you'. Is there a book of those photographs?

He was on assignment for NG and shooting covered bridges in Iowa? Without watching the movie, what are some of the details? I don't remember that much. What kind of camera was he using? What kind of techniques did he use? Was there anything special or memorable about this one aspect of the movie?

I'm very interested in freelance photography, or getting a job at a local studio. I'm a songleader at my church, but I volunteer, and need a career for my finances.

If anyone could show me a completely free freelance photography website where I could sell some of my pics, or sign up to take some for a company, would get my vote for a best answer.

Thank you very much in advance.

Sincerely, Digory83

if i scan a photo and then in the processing i invert it i create a photo negative of sorts. but when i scan a real negative and invert it all i get is a mess. i should be able to see exactly whats on the negative and clean it up a little anyway and no matter what what i do it's just a mess. i don't get it

What is a good camera for someone starting out? I want to make my own movies and documentaries, but I don't want it to look amateur.

Not flickr on stock exchange....preferably a site where you don't have to contact the photographer...if there's such a thing. Any links are appreciated. Thanks! (=

I did order a 2GB memory card from newegg. $29 (with rebate), can't beat that! The 2Gb in stores are over $100! And this one is high-speed. Does your camera do motion video? Ours does video with sound. With the 2GB hi-speed card I should be able to record over an hour's worth of full motion video with sound. Our camera also does panoramic shots by automatically stitching together 3 shots taken side-by-side-by-side. Does yours do that? Oh and it also has automatic face-detection. If it detects a face in the frame it automatically focuses on it (you can see it highlights and frames the face on the screen) and sets itself in portrait mode and does red-eye and fill-flash if necessary. Does your camera do that?

I was observing how professional photographers look at the tiny viewfinder, instead of looking at the big LCD screen, when taking pictures with their DSLR. Why is that?
