I was wondering how do you get a copy right for pictures you have taken

Artists' work is automatically copyrighted under law, no legal action is required. If you feel more comfortable, sign the work with a letter C inside a circle beside your name, with the date.

Every picture is automatically copyrighted by the photographer, but if you're going to have pictures up on the internet that you've taken I would suggest either: putting a watermark on the picture; disable the right-click, print screen, and ctrl+(whatever button to save/print); or signing the picture with the copyright sign and year

when I take pictures and give/sell them I always sign them on the front and date them always keep the negatives or originals to verify your work, places that scan photos will not allow them to be scanned unless you get an artist release to do so there can be unscrupulous people that know how to get around things such as water marks and signatures

forgery has been around a long time, just as there have been artists that are legitimate
