I can get it to do what i want, but i cannot get it to make the text a macro. i was wondering how pros put their logos and names on photos. i would imagine that they dont do it manually every time. anyone know?

There are pictures of me on the internet from when I competed at gymnastics nationals. I can't copy them to put on my computer because they are copyrighted. What are ways I can copy them because I believe they are rightfully mine, being that they are pictures of me from two years ago. Please help, I know there is a way but I forget how to do it.

I'm new to photography, and I am having a heck of a time learning the keys to good lighting indoors. I was at an anniversary party, and was fooling around with flash, and all it did is wash out my subjects and put way too much contrast between them and the background. Even when the background is only 4 feet away, it will be fairly dark, and the subject will be washed out with white. These were candid shots, so there was no pre-planned lighting. Also, even with the white balance adjusted, the photos seemed very... fluorescenty. It was hard to get any warmth out of them. The photos without flash were great, but with flash, they don't look good at all.

I have a Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ20. Its a great camera, but the flash seems so harsh and miscolors my subjects so bad. Is there any way I can change any of this?

Okay so ive been on a bad luck/ mal-informed streak of taking bad photos of my friend. Its really my fault and I really want to capture a nice photo for her. This will be the fourth time around, and this time, a lot of things were taken into consideration, from lighting down to what was more flattering (her clothes) to the background, since we were limited to resources. I tried (and hopefully at least sort of got the idea) of the composition key but some photos just I guess fell into those “dead” zones horizontally and vertically. I have been reading/learning(and hopefully showing growth) about photography, I’ll never give up, but I would like some(at left if any) progression in my photos. (coninue onto the details section please)

I know that getting a stylus is probably the best way to outline digital photos to make use of the 'lasso' function with photoshop elements, but not having the right computer, what else could I use? I've seen these cordless mouses that have the transmitter built inside. Would they make an accurate 'track' or is there something better to use? Also what techniques would help to accurately select the part of the photo you want to mask or highlight?

I am going to Las Vegas in August with all my friends and family for a once in a lifetime trip (my wedding). I would love to take great photos, but I'm a little new at it. My camera is a Fuji FinePix S700 and I have a few lenses (uv, polarizing and diffusion). I can get daytime shots without a problem, but the night shots look terrible. I've practiced with all the settings, which are a little confusing, but it doesn't seem right. I know night shots are tricky, not to mention all the lights in the background that will be going on. Does anyone have any advice? I have read the owners manual several times, but I would like to hear from someone with experience in photography.
