i want to promote big bands and help put together tours and such..as well as go on them.?

so what would i go to college or get my degree in?

and how would i get started?

Public relations or marketing I would think. Plus, you would need to have a ton of money. You need to learn how to be a promoter..I would think that getting involved as as many fundraising events you can would be great experience as well.

Plus, you would have to be a "Somebody", or have connenctions to people in the music business..

That job doesn't require a degree, it requires contacts with big bands so you can get a job with them.
