This is the second time to ask this but I thought maybe more people would see it.

It is a cell phone pic of my TV while I paused the movie "In The Bedroom"

It looks to me like a Maine seascape or that region.

Sorry about the quality just ignore the guys face in the corner.

Please help! Have been looking for this for some time.

I am looking for the name of a Russian artist who typically paints a clown or clowns that are holding violins. The serographs sell for like 200, so I don't know if that helps. He is older, not new. Don't know if he died or not.

Any suggestions?

Here’s the deal: If I wanted to paint a painting that represented the stages of a love affair (being alone, the chance meeting, flirting, dating, falling in love, having sex, reaching an apex, then becoming stale, drifting apart, suffering pain and anger, separating, being alone again) and wanted to do so with color sequences that represented each stage, which colors would you choose for each stage?

I have a 1926 original water color painting of a ship done by an English artist Henry S.Tuke which is signed and I believe in the original frame. I cannot find this particular picture in my searches of the artist's work. I can find some of his work.
I believe he may have painted it in St. Tropez.

Does anyone know where I can get an appaisal done in either, the Boston, MA or Southern NH area?

I am hoping you can help me. I am trying to find out the current info and thoughts as to whether an oil painting needs to breathe to preserve it's life and quality? I was told to glue and nail a piece of plywood to the back of a torquing/twisted canvas frame on oil, and one framer said that was bad since it would prevent the oil from breathing, while another said the current discovery is actually that an oil painting should not be exposed to the air. Can you help direct me to info on this? Was there an article in your publication about this?
