I met a lovely man named ralph when he was in hopital, and spent quite a lot of time with him, when i was working there.

he's a blind man mabey in his 70s, who has made himself a millionaire through painting art!

i know he lived in paisley and i know that people have bought his art as one of the doctors said he owned a painting of his. i hav tried to find his art everywhere and have googled him and stuff.... how do i see his paintings, where do you find stuff like this???//?/??????

I'm thinking to learn oil painting myself. But wondering what are the basic (type of canvas, brushes, palette..etc) things that i should ready to get myself started without buying something unnecessary & impractical for a amartuer like me. Possible to advise what are the brands that i should consider?

I saw a work of art picturing the east front of the U.S. Capitol. The plaza had many people walking and ambulances were parked in the scene. I believe the title had something to do with "summer". I saw the print in the Senate Gift Shop, but no longer work up there so I can no longer look. Any ideas on the names or where I can find it online?

k so i am going to be painting a mural on a little boys wall and it is going to be curious george...but the thing is the parents of the little boy both want me to do 2 different things, the mom wants just this picture of the rocket ship

and as a painter i really like the second option because it would look really cool and it would be fun for me to do, but i dont noe if it is the best one,
it might be a little too busy with both
so just give opinions or suggestions please

I acquired this work of art at an estate auction a few weeks ago. I have searched all over the web and can't find out anything about it. Can you help? It is signed Marc Chagall at the bottom. I took a picture of it and posted it on my website.

Ive always done water color but recently Ive started painting with acrilics as well as oil paint. Idk if you can mix acrilics with oils . . . have any of u tried it b4? And how long does it take these paints to dry normally??? Bc I layer paint a LOT and I want the 2st layer of colors to dry b4 I put on a second layer. Idk how long it supposed to take to dry but it seems like FOREVEVR!!!!!!!!

I'm working on a painting and am about 1/2 way finished. I woke up this morning to a bit of a tear in it, and a cat with a less than innocent look on his face. The tear is about 1 inch long but there aren't any pieces of the canvas missing. Is there something I can do to fix it?
