I have to do an "In the Style Of..." Piece and it has to be a landscape. I'm having trouble finding one I identify with. Any Suggestions?

Well, you probably won't identify with it---but Thomas Cole and Albert Bierstadt did landscapes that reflected Manifest Destiny in America....and there is lots of information on this style.
