Hi! I found Daniel Sherrin. Daniel Sherrin was born in Whitstable in 1870. Daniel specialized in landscapes. He was the pupil of B.W. Leader. Daniel Sherrin lived for a sometime on the East Coast near Whitstable, and also painted along the shores of Suffolk and Norfolk. In his early period he painted seascapes. Later, he turned to landscapes and, it is for these he has become well known. His paintings were often used for book illustrations, and some of his works were engraved. He was commissioned by King George V to paint Sandringham and this painting still hangs in Buckingham Palace. During the first World War he did valuable work on the design of posters in connection with recruitment for Kitchener's Army, and this work is currently in the archives of the Imperial War museum.
If you believe it's Daniel Sherrin, here are a bunch of results:

How popular the artist is, those who take more time to sell can often ask more. If you don't know any of the Artists, then it is down to your pocket and if you want to spend the money, or just as important do you have the spare money to spend. Artists have a price they find they can sell at and they will put a top price on a painting in every display and if they find they can keep getting the price asked it will keep going up. Also some see themselves as an 'Artist' where other see themselves just as competent amateurs, and so only price their paintings accordingly. If you like something, look at this way, what is the pleasure it gives you when you look at it, worth a cup of tea/coffee/champagne/brandy/rump steak whatever, then decide whether you think you will still feel the same next year or the year after, in which case would you have been willing to spend the price of your benchmark say once a week to view it, and what would it have cost you in two years time. I bought a pair of etchings and paid £70, and this came to me as I drank a beer and was looking at them, that I had got an absolute bargain, as I had had them for over 8 years and didn't need to go anywhere to study them, money well spent. I have since found they sell for about £400 each, but they are not going anywhere, even when my credit card companies were phoning for money on a daily basis, there was no chance of a sale. Think of whether you would like to have the painting in your home full time for you to enjoy. But of course if you have a spare $100 million some sunflowers maybe your bag.
