It's not really a question but it's for a good cause. Ten of my paintings (plus sixty more by other artists) will be part of a fund raiser that will include the music of IMA ROBOT.

The information is posted in my 360 blog.

These are a pair of probable famous paintings from an artist in the 17th or 18th centuries. (?) I want to know who the painter was, and where the originals are today, and their estimated value.

The painting is a holiday, probably Christmas, winter/snow on the ground scene of St Paul's Church. The date on the back of the picture is 1967. The Rev. Ralph Edwin Merrill, who served as rector 1960-74, was at St. Paul's when the picture was painted. The white church is a typical New England church of the early 1700s.

I want to make colors blend perfectly but I do not want to use the smudge tool. I believe the smudge tool just makes things blurrry and not life like. So any suggestions on some painting steps that would be helpful to get the results I need- Thanks

I have no idea which painting to do :( Someone is already doing The Scream and Starry night... so anything besides that would be very very helpful! My mate (Nameless), did a bit of pointing for the Duke up at the Manor and being short of cash, the Duke gave him a painting, 'Woman by the window' by Vermeer, but my mate won't go on the Antiques Road Show in case they don't believe him.

U.S. casino magnate gives Picasso's dream the elbow
Wed Oct 18,
Picasso's famed "Dream" painting turned into a nightmare for Las Vegas casino magnate Steve Wynn when he accidentally gave the multimillion dollar canvas an elbow.

Wynn had just finalized a $139 million sale to another collector of his painting, called "Le Reve" (The Dream), when he poked a finger-sized hole in the artwork while showing it to friends at his Las Vegas office a couple of weeks ago.

Director and screenwriter Nora Ephron, who witnessed and related the incident in her blog on the Huffington Post Web site (www.huffingtonpost.com), said Wynn had raised his hand to show the group something about Picasso's 1932 portrait of his mistress Marie-Therese Walter.

"At that moment, his elbow crashed backward right through the canvas. There was a terrible noise," Ephron wrote, noting that Wynn has retinitis pigmentosa, an eye disease that damages peripheral vision. "Smack in the middle ... was a black hole the size of a silver dollar.
