It's F. Whitman. If you look closely, the W looks funny but it's there. it's broken up and is a capital W.

why not just take it to a dealer & they can help figure it out. they also can help with the verification of authentic art versus a fake. there are tons of fakes out there among the real art work. also, they can help determine the value as well. it would be less time consuming than trying to figure this all out yourself. good luck!
