One of my old teachers showed us this gooey stuff once that she spread all over the back (or front??) of a photocopy and rubbed onto another piece of paper real well, producing a replica of the photocopy.

Recently I saw a movie where a girl was doing this with some photocopies and canvas.

What is this stuff called and how do I use it?!

I usually buy pre-stretched canvas for my paintings but it is starting to get quite exspensive due to the large scale peices I create. I'm trying to find a place to purchase canvas at a good price. If you have any suggestions, please let me know.
-Thanks

Im new to painting! I have heard somewhere that a metal grill of some description can be used to help scrape the paint off... is this correct? I think a lid is also handy to prevent evaporation... Can you buy containers to hold the Turpentine? If so, where?

Can anyone tell me where I can purchase an artist's liner paint brush in a size 30/0 or smaller? Someone told me there is a 100/0 liner out there. Any truth to that statement?

Thanks.

I want to use stencils and spray paint a few words on a new white shirt. Can I get some info/help on that? How drangerous is it? I would do it out side and it would be really quick. Just basicly spray painting like one word on a shirt. We don't have any spray paint here, I would have to buy some after I talk to my parents. Can anyone give me some suggestions?

I have developed a new way of making framed pictures and do my own art on these types of oil paintings. I am scared if and when I come out with this many other will think of my idea as a good one and start copying it making there own profits. Is there any law in the book protecting this?

Art is not my forte, though I do enjoy studying for leisure. However, I CANNOT remember the name and artist of a specific painting that is really well known. It features a very pale man (I'm almost thinking this was meant as a self portrait) with a woman behind him in green, almost looking pregnant although I know that was just the style of the gown. There is also a mirror in the background, and I think a small dog next to him. Maybe it's from the Baroque era? I'm really not sure. Help would be greatly appreciated!
