I paint with acrylics on medium to large sized canvases. They're good paintings, not really of anything, just whatever comes to mind. So my question is how much would the average person pay for a modernish art piece? I just wanna know if I should start to sell my work or just leave it as is.

I read you could iron the t-shirt inside out to make it permanent but that was using fabric paint. Anyone ever tried regular acrylic paints?

I bought a couple of paintings at a flea market, and I've been trying to locate the artist, title, value, etc. and haven't had any luck searching online. Any suggestions on websites or other resources that can help me identify this information? Thanks!

I like to use extensive shading to create three dimensional affects when painting. Using acrylics is new to me! Do I start with the lighter colour and work the various shading colours in layers over the top? Will that work, or is the whole thing going to smudge? Also, when the work is completed, can I varnish the canvas, to give it a glossy and cleanable finish?

It is two separate paintings of the same scene. One shows a man sitting at a bar looking to his right and the other shows a woman sitting at the same bar looking to her left. Gives the illusion that they are staring across at each other. Any ideas?

Sure, they had maintenance people, but did they have specialized talented artists who traveled too, to maintain and keep up with their posters, wagons, lettering etc. If so, was there a nickname for them or some special title?

This is the latest one. I call this style sub-symbolism because, although it does contain symbols, these are painted without any conscience clue as to what they will look like until they’re finished.

But I am pretty sure it has something to do with time.

I want to paint a picture to put in my room. My room has 3 moss green walls and 1 white one. The curtains are off-white and lace with flower designs. My bedspread is a blue/green with faded bunches of flowers. I want something to paint that's not too hard- i like drawing things of nature, like sunsets.. not people though; i don't like drawing so much detail. I want to make an impressionist-style painting.. something thats not ordinary, but unique and nice, kinda bold colors? Thanks
