I am a teriffic painter of portrits also other things like surilistic and impressionistic stuff. how can I make money doing that

You would have to sell your work or teach the art of painting.

In order to sell your work, you need to set up a deal with an art dealer or go through one of the new websites.

To teach you can contact your local community center and offer your services.

Have you thought about illustrating books? Maybe fantasy or something similar would be right down your street. Contact publishing houses that specialise in this type of litterature.

Make a portfolio (online and physical). Send it to local art galleries and follow up with a phone call. If they are interested they will let you know. I think though, at this time, a lot of it is luck...

Try entering a state fair near your home town or try locating a gallery that accepts new artist, there is always eBay.
