I have 2 really old pictures, 1 of my granparents and family and the other of a team my grandfather use to coach. Both of them are really blurry and faded, I need to fix them and I am not sure how. I have the Adobe Design Suite that I use for my Web Design class, but I am not sure how you restore photos. I would really apreciate any suggestions b/c I am trying to restore them for a Christmas present. Thank you.

And where to find a checklist, persay, (e.i. 2 lights, 1 umb....) something like that.

I want to get my creative daughter something artistic to work on for a gift. She doesn't like paint or color, she just likes line art with a black pen on white paper. So art kits are usually wasted on her.

Im working on a portrait painting of a legendery dog in our family that just passed away. ive done a lot of work with acryllics but no portraits. The dog is all white but I want to put some very very light shading marks on it. I cant seem to get the right color to look like shading for a white dog. Does anyone have any tips or suggestions for me? Thanks so much

I know the ISO basics. What I'm wondering is if there is any benefit to using a high ISO when I can get a good exposure at a lower one?

I am in the process of printing a calendar and need to buy glossy photo paper. I have the choice of 2 types of paper, both advertised as "Glossy" and from the same manufacturer. One of them has a GSM of 160 and the other of 210. The 210 is priced higher, so I assumed that it was of higher quality. However, several of my friends disagreed so I thought I'd seek another opinion. Many thanks,
Chris

Hello everyone,
I am a soon to be NYIP student and had some questions about photographing kids.

1. What are some common poses that you could position a child so that you can get the most dramatic effect?

2. Does positioning a child vary with gender? (differant poses for boys and girls)

3. Is it better to photograph indoors or outdoors?

4. Do candid shots make good portraits ( I like the idea of having the kid either playing a game or watching a favorite movie and getting reaction shots)

Can anyone Please give me ANY advice that would be beneficial to what I hope will be a new career?

Thank you

My husband is taking some pictures of stuff for work and they brought in lights but it's too bright...I thought you could use tissue paper or cellophane over the lighting to diffuse it...which one is it? Any suggestions? Thanks!

Not that Walmart is the best place to print photos, but I'm wondering if any amateur photographers ever have been questioned because their photographs looked so good?

We have some air dry clay which he wetted and molded around a plastic botttle. Now that it's driying, it's cracking. Can we rewet and try again?
I have some plaster of paris. Could we use that to form around a container? This is for Christmas.
Any ideas, help would be welcomed.
Thanks

i was thinking a painting of a guy pushing past obstacles, or a guy that would not give up at something particular ( main focus would be on determination ). i'm not talking about a sports painting showing some football guy pushing past tacklers, i'm talking about actual art and paintings. a link, website, title of art would be needed as well. thank you so much!
