Visual Arts - November 2007

In my digital photography class we have to portray reflection.
Reflection is easy. Reflection is everywhere. But I'm a very creative person. I'm not the average, taking a picture of you in the mirror.

I need some more creative ideas.
With you're ideas, please explain how to do it. And what props need to be in there.

The canvas was purchased in a shop named Enloe'sRoanoke,Alabama.The hardwood carved frame is from a shop in Dallas Texas named Bentley"s.2509 Berne[must mean the address]I have done a lot of searching to no avail.It truly is a piece of work and I am soley interested in the artist and her origins.thank-x

Since I got my external flash, I've seen lots of these flash accessories by lumiquest and other manufacturers

My Question:
Are these devices worth it? I'm no professional, but I'd like to make my shots look as best as possible without fancy equipment. I also shoot lots of indoor shots at parties and other events.

What is your opinion on them?

I own a Canon 30d and love it. I am really into infrared photography and have an Olympus camera that works really well, it takes great pics, but it's only a 4mp and while the images are great, I can't really blow those up to a large enough size to display. I am thinking of buying a used Canon Rebel, XT or XTi and have one of the companies that are converting them for IR use to convert it. I was wondering if anyone had this done...how it worked for you...and which camera and conversion company you used?

I am looking for a specific font that is used in this poster:

My problem is - my little sister played with my old film camera - she loaded a new film, but forgot to change the film speed and took a couple of shot with the asa rating set on the one of the old film. Can I do anything about it, if I change it to what it should be - will it be OK, or is the film wasted?
