i am an interior designer from asia and i just transfered here in montreal. i would really like to know where i could find the best art tools store? like brushes and paints and stuff that is good quality and good price.

Omer de Serres is the common chain of art stores in Montreal. There is one downtown in Place Montréal Trust.

I can't give you any suggestions on local places. But if you search your local listings for Art Supply Stores, I am sure quite a few will show up.
you can also check some popular online retailers and see if they have a location near you, or if you know what you need already, you can save a little by ordering online!
