I'm trying to find a stock picture of them for art class, it's kinda hard especially since I don't know what they're called (or even if they have a name).

I'm a new artist looking for a printing company to create reproductions of my artwork. I paint with acrylics on canvas and I have no idea what to expect, or what to look for, and what is best.

Is getting prints done by digital photography good?
Or is getting prints done by scanning the artworks good?

Which one would be the better choice? Any advice would a great help. Thanks in advance.

I have this picture, of a stream, snow covered trees, and sun going up or coming down in the dark background. It's an oil painting and on the bottom right it has a name and I can't figure out who painted it, some say it says Kratz or Kraft or kraintz. I have checked several sites and no one has a reprint of it so i can see who the artist is. I know it is about 20 years old.

Besides the domes, which is essentially a big greenhouse, I haven't really gotten to a really good shooting location...I've only been shooting photos (and not just snapshots) for about half a year, so don't be too harsh...

Check the first two pages-the one with the plants, wavy lights and dogs (although feel free to look at other photos, too). The dogs might've been a little blurry 'cause it was overcast and they were moving fast, although that probably won't be much of a problem when viewing the images small.

Please give me some feedback and advice (preferabely from experienced photographers).

Also, for more info, I was using a rebel XTi, handheld for all, with a regular zoom lens 28-90mm f/4.0-5.6 (I wanted to get it cheaper so I just took my 35mm lens off and changed them) no IS or USM or DO or anything fancy like that. Mostly on monochrome, aperature priority AE, average shutter speed=1/60.
Thanks

Using Photoshop, what is a good way to color-correct digital photos that are too yellow. I know how to use the 'Auto-Color' feature so that's not what I'm looking for. I'm looking for how to really use the Levels, Hues & Saturation, and Color Balance, etc. I tried compensating the yellows by increasing the blues, but that doesn't work best. Any other tips?

Does this work with older SLR cameras, such as the Canon A-1. Also, does it work with any kind of lens, or only certian lenses - which lenses.

Ok, I've been searching for a new drawing tablet, but one with a tilt option since I mainly use it for illustration. I have been using an older Wacom that my brother has lent me , but I'd like to return it to him and get my own. It seems that Wacom is the only brand that has a tilt option and havent been able to find any others..

Are there any other brands? AND with a $300 or so budget; are there any better candidates for drawing tablets? I have seen brands such as Genius, Aiptek, Adesso, but is there any reason to get those over the Wacom other than price?

Thanks.

I need to find a painting that is described as romantic. It can be an image of a couple or an image of a female looking romantic. It doesn't matter whether or not the painting or art work is famous as long as I can see it. But it would help a lot more if the painting or art work is famous and from the past. The painting or art work can be from textbook, online, Christmas cards, etc.

So can anyone please help me out? Thanks

Picasso, like Tenessee Williams, created art that was autobiographical. Study the work that Picasso introduced during the 1930s, the same period of time in which The GLASS MENAGERIE takes place. How was the painting “Guernica” part of Picasso’s life? Why did Williams mention it in THE GLASS MENAGERIE?

My grandfather was a professional photographer, and he had a bunch of cameras, as i was told by my mom. One of the cameras that he had, and i have now, is a Konica Autorex. Its the model with the half and full frame lever and is silver NOT black. The thing is, it doesnt work, like it used to. Nothing works on the camera besides the aperture ring. I was wondering, how good was the camera back then, and now. And should i bother paying some money to refurbish the whole thing?

ps, im getting an estimate hopefully on how much it should be to fix the whole thing up.

When working with a photographer, what types of rights should a model look to receive to the photographs she takes? I see it pretty useless if you are not able to use the pics that you take for the reasons that you want. Shouldn't you be able to use your photos for whatever you want as long as the photographer is given credit for the shot?

There's this AMAZING photo I came across, and I want to save it to my computer (or download it maybe??) to set as my desktop background. However, when you put your mouse over the picture (where you'd normally right click and select to save picture) little boxes come up with "notes" that people have left. So when i right click and save, the picture is saved with those boxes with the notes showing. On some of the photos on that website, there's a "download" link about it. However, with this particular picture there is not a link. HELP!

that's the link to the picture- hope this all made sense!
thanks in advance for all your suggestions!
