Any one know where i can find a nice stationary set for a guy? Or just a nice writing/sending letters kit.?

If he is not, already, in the habit of writing letters and notes, no special stationery will encourage him to begin.

Trust me on this. The only regular writing I do is, occasionally in my journal, emails, and some amateurish fiction writing which I keep, mostly, to myself.

Outside of that, I only do some technical writing for clients. Consider this, for a guy, even this is a LOT of writing, and no stationery design is going to make me write letters and notes. Such a kit will sit on my shelf, until it comes time to clear out some space for more of my "junk."

Again, if he does not, already, write notes and letters on a regular basis, buy him something else, like a video, or a baseball hat.
