my mom used to make me do this for "aged" history papers.. heat up the stove on a very low heat. hold the page about 12" off the burner. move it slowly all around the edges. slowly, very slowly, it will start to burn and get a golden, folded look. next, she made a cup of tea (only a tiny bit, maybe half a cup) she would slowly pour a little bit down the sides over the edges, so there would be tea on the bottom of the cup. then, she would sit the cup on the paper.

Wet an ordinary tea bag. Let it sit for a few minutes. Squeeze most of the liquid out and smear the damp tea bag all over the paper. Let the paper dry. It will curl up somewhat from the dampness. If you want it to lay flat, iron it.

Spray it lightly with water and leave it exposed to sunlight for a few days. You may want to singe an edge or roll the edge in you fingers to make it look "worn". If you want it to look even "worse", scrunch it into a loose ball, and then iron it with a hot iron. If the iron is hot enough, it will scorch the paper depending on how long you leave it on the paper.

PhotoShop it!

Okay, nextly. Mix some sugar and lemon juice. Brush the paper with a sponge. Hold it over an open flame until it's barely brown. Crumple the page before this...you can also then bake it in the oven and then let it dry. ^^

I did this once for my kids treasure hunt, take dry coffee, maybe a colored paper stock, and wipe it on the paper.
or take paper and soak it in a tray of coffee liquid, then let dry ( I never tried this but sounds like it may work) I also burned the edges with a match.

Tea will stain the paper making it appear to have an aged look. It will also give it water marks which will also add to the aged look. Let it dry this will cause it to wrinkle which will also add to the aged look.

You can crumple it up. Maybe adding a few paint splatters would have a nice effect.
