No such thing. What is normal for a passport photo will not be suitible for a desk portrait. And THAT size would be too small for a wall portrait.

Also, consider this: film formats, themselves come in different shapes and sizes. A 35 mm negative is a small rectangle, while 120 film is about two inches by two inches square. Larger format, view cameras use, even bigger film.

And, In, virtually, ALL of these film sizes, the images are enlarged to whatever print size is required.

You can take your 35 mm film to a pharmacy and the usual sizes offered will be, something like, three by five, or four by six, with large sizes available.

A2 = 594 x 420 mm A3 = 420 x 297 mm A4 = 297 x 210 mm A5 = 210 x 148 mm
