My digital camera has lots of different features for different pictures like 'pet, backlight, night scene, high sensitivity' etc. If i want to take a picture outside and theres a strong sun shining the pictures come out all blurry and weird. How do I make them look good?

I already know that Pantone 072 = Hex #2905A1 - but don't know anything about converting percentages.

I went to two different locations to have photos printed, both times an "exclamation mark" appeared stating there was missing data and the quality of the prints turned out really bad. I had changed the colours to B&W and sepia tones so i went home and reverted everything back and went back to the store thinking it was because of the program i used but it did the same thing. I'm thinking it could be my memory card. I bought a "brand name" 2KG SD card and when i had put it in my canon ( i have only used it in my SLR) the canon could not read it saying it was too large. I need to get these prints done but i want the quality to be decent and not poor, can anyone tell me what the problem could be and if it can be fixed??

Please!!

TIA!!

I have a new super compact super light camera, and it has only an LCD screen and no viewfinder. I used to find steadying the camera against my head steadied it for great pics, but with the lcd screen I have to hold it out infront of me, and for scenery shots, the slightest movement on my part ruins the detail of the scenery in the distance.
Any advice?

My honest opinion: they are both top in DSLR, lens range is excellent for both.

I own one system and if I want a lens for a job and cant find or hire one in the system I own I hire the lens and a body from the other system.

People seem to be aggressive(?) if someone says something that is fact but percieved as an attack on the other brand.

An example is Canon bodies; they have said that they have a 21mp DSLR it was "released" a week ago, can it be found? No. Is the spec above everything else in DSLR? Yes. Does it mean anything? Not till it can be used. Canon have had full frame for a while and nikon are about to do the same.

From those examples is it fair to say canon are ahead?

Does it matter? (i think not)

If I say those two things does that deserve riddicule because one brand appears to be ahead in two areas?

Why are some people emotionally attached to a "brand" isnt it just a matter of right tool for the job?

So some hornets nests, what do you say?

like in movies or music videos where the closer things are in focus and the things further away are blurry then the closer things become blurry and the further things become in focus

Are we having fun yet?

Thanks so much for your explanations about the dreaded purple fringe. Some of that I knew and much of it I did not.

My original question asked whether fringe came from the sensor, the lens, or both. I do believe that it comes from both, but I now believe that the lens is the more significant contributor. Once you see my sample, you will understand why I say this. If fringe was merely caused by the sensor, you would not see the pattern that I observed. Whether a "good" lens will give less fringe or not remains to be investigated.

See http://www.flickr.com/photos/samfeinstein/1209211393/ and read the commentary and come back and answer the question, "What do you think?"

Interestingly, I was not expecting to ever use this image for anything but a geometric study. I used to weld and do some minor steel construction and I really appreciate the precision of this structure. You have to realize that you are looking at something about 30 feet wide.

What exactly do I need? What should I wear? Is it okay for a skilled friend to take the shots or should I go to a professional photographer? How many shots should I have and what should they look like? Do I need to include something other than just photos? Are comp cards required?

Can anyone please tell me the use of Camera Lens Adapters. What is the importance of having it or not having it?

You know, to turn your 35mm camera into a pinhole camera.

Did it work? How did you do it? What size was the hole?

If it worked do you think that you could like, I dont know, take a picture with it, and um, like make like just one or two things color with it and the rest, um, like, I dont know.... whats the word... photo-grey? No thats not it. I mean ARTISTIC!! Yeah thats it.

I'm making a penname for an art website, but I don't know what to use. I like names that are kinda gothic or emo. Faeries and fantasy creatures are pretty cool. Anime names are pretty cool too. Or something that just fits together. I'm female, but don't pick anything too girly. Can you please help me??? I need something a.s.a.p. thanks!
