You can use either laser or inkjet to do TShirt transfers. Laser printers typically have a lower cost per page than ink jet printers do, but, of course, the printer itself costs a lot more money!

There is a huge variety of media available for doing this kind of stuff. HP, Epson, and Avery are common brands that are availble at Staples or Office Depot. There are lot's of on-line vendors as well(see below)

If you are planning on mass producing T-Shirts (50 or more) you might want to consider getting a simple silk screen setup from Speed Ball or make your own. More work involved, but way cheaper in the long run.

i myself have never done it, but my best friend did, and she just buys special paper and the regular ink in her printer...


i dont think its the ink that matters, its just the paper...
