what stores sell airbushes and compressors?

i'm learning to airbrush and need to know where i can buy airbrushes besides the web. I also needed to know if it matters what kind of compressor you buy. ( does horse power matter for airbrushing or is more always better).thank you for your time.

need help in fixing a painting...?

I have an oil painting that has a bulge from being stored against a piece of furniture. Can the canvas damage be repaired, and if so, what method would you recommend?

Have you ever seen the Mona Lisa?

I don't mean a picture of it in a book, but at the Louvre. I sort of got to see her. When I went though there was such a crowd around her that I was glad I am 5'10". If you have been there, was it like that for you also?

How can I promote my portrait business?

I draw portraits with charcoal pencil based on photos, and I mail them to the customer when they are done. I get steady business on eBay, and I am going to put up fliers. I'm wondering what type of publications might be best for advertising that wouldn't be expensive, and would target the right people.

Is this a good photoshopped picture?

so this is my photoshop picture i've done and i want to know if it is good.

this is the car before:

What i did to the car:

- Changed body color

- Tinted windows

- Cleared indicators

- Added flames

- Added side body kit [skirt]

I know you can still see the red from the car. so try to ignore that.

So pleeease tell me if thats good!

Genuine or Fake Compact Flash Card?

I want to buy a Sandisk 4GB Extreme III Compactflash Card. On ebay and a few places on google they are around 100 pounds, but jessops are selling for twice that. I have read that there are many places selling fake CF cards, taking slow, budget 4GB cards and putting these expensive Scandisk lables on them. How do i tell if i have a fake card, and hence tell my credit card or paypall to give me my money back? Is there some software that interrogates the chip in the card and tells you exactly what it is, and hence a genuine card? Thanks for any helpful advice...

Famous painting help?

I'm looking for the name of the painting with a woman sitting in a chair on the right side looking to the left. Her clothes are of the 1800's. I don't know what she's doing, knitting or reading a book. I want to say the wall is greenish and there may be a picture hanging on the wall. I want to say there is a staircase but I'm not sure. What is the title of this movie where this couple stayed young forever because of this painting they had?

I saw this movie on PBS two years ago. It's this couple with a painting of themselves when they were in their 20s. Everyone around them grew older and gray and they remained the age they were in the painting. When something happens to the painting it happens to them. I think they kept the painting in the attic and in the end the painting gets destroyed and they instantly became old. Thanks.

who took 70's poster/photograph?

I am desperate to find the name of a photographer and his photos from the seventies. The subject was always women in sheer clothing with floppy hats and usually carrying flowers (think flake advert) the settings are usually country lanes, sometimes there was one woman sometimes two..i remember one with a tandem bike. My mum had them on her wall when i was a child in about '78.... I know the pictures are well known because they were featured on an 'i love the 1970's' programme recently. if anyone can help it would be brilliant!!!! thanks

For an outdoor, exposed wall mural, what media is best? How do I prep wall and seal it after completion?

I am supervising a team of high school students that will be creating an outdoor mural at a neighboring school. We want the mural to withstand the elements and to last for years to come. The mural will be painted on a textured concrete surface, that has already been painted.
