Hello, my school is doing the musical How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying and I am wanting to audition for the role of Bud Frump.
I am a junior
I am a tenor/baritone
I have extensive experience in theater and acting.
I am also the Forensics Captain.
I need to prepare a song for auditions, what song should I sing for his character?
I also have to read from the script, but I will not know what section till day of, how do I go about preparing for this?
I really really want this part!
Please offer any other suggestions that might be helpful!

Are there any voice acting tryouts in Bellevue, Washington?? I know about Run Sasaki's place...but I was just wondering other than there are there any more places?? Also, IF I do submit a sample of the voices I can do, what kind of source should I read from?? Like something from my biology/history textbook??!! Also, is there such a thing as a voice acting coach/teacher?? If there is, could someone please suggest them...as long as they're in Belleuve?? Thanx!!

I'm playing a 50 year old, peppy woman in a skit in a couple of days. Since I am not 50 years old just yet (I will be in about 30 years though), I would like to know whether there are some typical behaviorisms that some or many 50 year olds have...ways of speaking, nervous habits, even stance and walking patterns. I want to be an actress and I've tried everything. I don't live in a big city and there really aren't any classes here and no acting coaches. I want to make my dream come true, but sometimes I feel like there is no hope for me. It's very depressing at times, but I keep telling myself that if I have faith, then maybe my big break could come. My dream is to win an Oscar when I'm 17 or 18. I want to be the youngest person to ever win one in the 21st cenutry....(im 15 now) it seems impossible....I know. But I believe that it could happen, maybe anything could. But how am I going to reach my goal when I have no experience? When I haven't even really acted before? I need help. I need to find a good teacher or good classes close to me. Can anybody recommend any? Does anyone know any good acting teachers that would be willing to help me? I'm in Baltimore, MD, by the way...it's really not a big city. If anybody can help me, please speak up.

Hi, I'm 13 years old, and I want to try out for Mary Poppins, but I don't know how to pursue that. I don't have an agent, but I have a large range and can sing well. In the playbill of Mary Poppins it says they're always looking for kids from 4'8 to 4'10, and I'm 4'9, since I'm small for my age. How would I go about trying to audition for the show, I've looked everywhere online. London had an open casting call, but as far as I can see, Broadway hasn't had one recently. How do I do this???

Ok, heres the deal, I want to know what you guys think about it. In your opinion do you think Romeo and Juliet were truly in love? I know it's just a play and that it doesn't really matter what you think because the play has already placed the fact of wether or not they're in love. But I want to know what you think. i remeber when i was like in a sckool play before & church plays & i didnt want to do it cuz we was being Film. so i had a small part to do but i did it & like the next week at school the whole school watch it in there class rooms i didnt even like seeing my self or Hearing my self on Tv what does that mean could that mean i didnt like acting or what

I am singing two arias and my throat gets really dry - they are both huge arias and a dry throat will kill my top notes.
Do you think it'll be frowned upon if I take a sip of water after the first aria?
