I saw on the web that i need to get an acting coach... but my family is sorta having trouble with money so how much does an acting coach cost?im 15 yrs old.. im still in school and im in drama class.... i think i am a good actress but i get shy sometimes,i just work better with people... so please how can i become an actress?
ive been wanting this SOOO bad! and I have NO clue where i can audition for stuff(i live in orlando,florida)
Please someone help me!!!!

Okay, here's the deal. Tomorrow (Thursday), we have to tell a story up on stage. And we can't use papers or notes, we have to completely know it. And we have to use a lot of expression and movement. My only problem is, it that I use 'Um' and 'like' and 'so' WAY too much....
How can I fix this???
And also, how can I get myself to use a little more expression and movement??? I KNOW I can do it, but when I'm in front of people, I can't bring myself to do something I already know I can do.....IT'S SO ANNOYING!!

Alright, I really like to sing, and I wouldn't mind acting, because it sounds like SO much fun, the only problem is, I have horrible stage fright. People usually just tell me to get over it, but I can't! Now, my friend really wants me to join their theater, and i REALLY want to, but stage fright has taken over my life! I recently did a movie and was told because I was getting paid for at least three days of acting, that I would be able to be part of sag and get the wagers for it. I know it cost money after that however, I was told today by the director that I wont be able to join because the film is too low of a budget.... but I was getting at least 100 a day. HELP

I have a few ideas, but only from an outsiders perspective. Anyone know any good directional sites? I think I:

1. Move to _________?
2. Get a talent agent?
3. Hire a photographer so I can put together a porfolio?
4. Create profiles for casting sites?

Is anyone experienced in starting an acting career? What steps did you take to get into film? (That's what I'd like to do, get into actual films that will be shown in theaters, not stage productions).

I have only co stared in one movie so far and I think it went pretty well.Even tho the movie was produced by my dad it still came to hit every dvd stand there is.The movie is called finders keepers and I played a friend named chuck to the main actor.Also Ms Laura Hayes played a role in the movie as the stars mother.If you could give any information on this I would be very greatful thank you.Oh and check the movie out to.

Okay, I got a call from an artistic director...this is exactly what he said " Rehearsals start on the 24th. Are you available?" and I said that I was...then he said to come and pick up the script today...i did..but he didn't tell me what part i had...or anything...does he just want me to read the play, then audition or do you think i'm probably in the play?....I don't want to sound like stupid to him...I don't know how to ask him, if i have a part or not?

Im looking for something like talenthunter.com or actorsandstages.com, like the kind of agency/ site that posts when & where auditions are for film, tv, & theatrical productions, but they all want a credit card! I dont have one, I dont know anyone who'd let me use theirs, so....does anyone know of anything like those thats either 100% FREE or will let me send in payment through the mail?

I would like to have a good part in the local amateur dramatics panto - but I feel that, despite previous reasonable auditions, I am being overlooked - it is very cliquey and the same people tend to get picked year in year out.
