Pains me to think I won't live my whole life. I have everything great going for me! I am not usually superstitious, but the Mayans figured it out, and I also watched a show on the Bible Code on the History Channel. They also revealed 2012 and something about the world ending. I am scared!!

Is this real?
Will the world come to an end?
Will the Terrorists destroy us?

I also watched on the history channel that in the bible code it had something to do with nuclear bombs?

Tell me opinions =]

I don't agree with the saying no one is perfect. People say that, because perfection is subjective, no one can attain perfection. But rather than saying that no one is perfect, I'd like to think that everyone is perfect or has the ability to attain their own form of perfection. What are your thoughts on this?

Seems like everyone thinks they are authorized to make coment on Gita. I have heard of over 500 unauthorized versions. Lord Krishna Says that this knowledge must be heard from one who is in a pure disciplic succession (lineage), steming all the way from Him. In Bhaktivedanta Prabhupdadas Intoduction to the Gita, he shows the pure lineage, how LordKrishna gave this wisdom to Brahma, then Brahma to Narada then to Vyasa to Mahdava to Padmanabha to nirhari, Madhava, Aksobhya, Jaya Tirta, Jnanasindhu,Dayanidhi, Vidyanidhi, Rajendra, Jayadharma, Purusottoma, Brahmanya Tirtha, Vyasa Tirtha, Laksmipati, Madhavendra Puri(Nityananda and Advaita), Lord Caitanya, Rupa (Svarupa, Sanatana), Raghunatha, Jiva, Krishnadasa, Narottama, Visvanatha, (Baladeva),Jagannatha, Bhaktivinoda, Garuakishora, Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati, and A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhuada. So why so many other unauthorized comentaries. I prefer the original Absolute Truth. It is just safer.Thanks.
Sincer educated answers please

Why is there so much hate in the world? This may be a question that can't be answered but still why? I think that if there were more love than hate we would all get along. Please help my troubled thoughts. Thank you all.

If one was to do a good deed, and simultaneously do a bad deed, why would he automatically be a bad guy, if the good deed clearly far outweighed the bad, still the bad would outweigh the good no matter how good the good, and how insignificant the bad.

If as a child you had a deep love and interest for a certain culture, eventually you read about history and you realize this culture tried to wipe out your entire race in the past – for no good reason, would your views and interests be shifted away, would you become racist yourself, and direct all your hate towards that culture?

Why is it that we always fall for the movie stars. We never see their true personality. Most people don't, how can we love them if we don't even know them. The people we should really love is the people who wrote the script.......technically, they are the ones we are falling for.

The Bible speaks of some "teaching" other gospels. How many gospels are there?
I think the Jewish apostles were saying that Christian followers of Jesus were teaching another gospel. Run for the scriptures.

For ages this question has got me thinking. Can the earth just be being shaped and molded. We look after cows and cattle to make money, we look after them and sell them on ECT. But what if thats what we are? What if another form of intelegence is just molding the earth for somthing, do you think that we could just be cattle for another, more clever life form.
May be crazy but this always got me thinking.

The way I see it, all physical matter has a tendency to, what I call, be "happy," or stabilize. An example of what I mean is certain molecules lose or gain electrons in order to "stabilize."
Well humans may be just a coincidence of particles forming into what we are. And as humans, we try to do what makes us "happy," or stable, in a sense. So there is no real purpose for us in this universe, but rather we are just following the laws of the universe.

But this is just an opinion from an atheist, and new to the subject, I'm interested in what other opinions are, religious or not.
