Perfect is just a perception.
Everyone is perfect in my opinion, always has been, always will be.

hi! I am one of the people who believe that no one is perfect. The first reason I believe so, is that perfection is subjective. A certain characteristic which considers as a flaw by some people, it might also considers as something great by some other people. That is because everybody is different. We don't like the same things, or have the same tolerance for things. Even identical twins have something different, and that's what makes each one of us special and unique.
The second reason I believe that no one is perfect is because being perfect means not to have any flows. Being good at everything isn't enough. The perfect person has to be perfect in everything. And "everything" can mean perfect character, perfect taste, perfect grades, perfect at singing. dancing, driving and so much more.
I believe that we all agree that there isn't such a person.

I remember as a young man my grandmother ( a native of Ireland) had been insulted by a clerk in a corner variety store one winter. We left the store and we were walking down the street and the sidewalks were banked on both sides with four foot snow banks and it was cold. But I remember my grandmother muttering in distress about the treatment she received and she said at one point ..."some people are so high and mighty they think they're own dung doesn't smell", I never heard that in all my seventeen years of life and thought it was the most hilarious thing to say. I cracked up and fell into a snow bank laughing so hard. She was amused by my mirth in that old proverb, but still ...she didn't like the way she was treated.
Here's my point.
Have you ever farted that perfect fart that smelled like lilacs and roses?
Has your body ever regurgitated foul food?
Does the bathroom delight the olfactory senses after your body has disposed of it's waste? Perfectly?
Nobody is perfect darlin. No one can human being can ever achieve that status nor can they ever claim their own form of perfection.

If God is supposed to be perfect how could She have made anything or anyone that wasn't perfect.
Think about it. The idea of sin assumes certain things about God that seem highly unlikely.
First it assumes a God who is too incompetent to organize a simple educational field excursion and figure out a way to get all of the students home safely.
How likely is this that God would not be smart enough to come up with a plan for our salvation that is going to work 100 percent of the time?
It also assumes that God must have created us imperfect if we are sinners.
One might assume that God would be able to create someone perfect each and every time if he chose to. Assuming God is capable of this, then it follows logically that we must be perfect creations if we are actually creations of this perfect God.
Unless of course you are saying that God chose to create us imperfect.
If God created us imperfect then anything that may go wrong is Gods fault, not ours. This seems a bit illogical at best so I think that we need to assume that What God creates would have to be perfect.
If this is the case and Gods creations are perfect, then nothing that we can do could change what God created perfect and make it imperfect unless we think that we are more powerful than God is.
How likely is it that we the creation could be more powerful than the creator. I personally find this idea somewhat amusing, and a bit absurd.
Religion tells us that God is perfect. If this is true then it could hardly be logically for Gods creations to be considered to be anything less than perfect.
If this is the case and we are perfect creations of a perfect God then Nothing that we can ever do could possibly change this perfection that God willed, unless we were so powerful that our choices could override and change the will of God.
How likely is that????
Think about it.

Are you from the relativist school? Concepts aren't subjective, people's views and experiences of the concepts are. Perfection is not relative,it has a precise meaning - otherwise, how come do you talk about it and everyone knows the meaning? Of course nobody's perfect in the full meaning of the concept because concepts aren't supposed to be accomplished: they're guidelines, reminding you you can improve every day. I understand when you try to individualize perfection but you can't: concepts are universal - at least within a culture - you can't just dispose of it as you please. Don't obsess over perfection: it's because of that concept that a lot of stupidity has been done throughout History...

Perfection is too vague, you could be perfect for a certain role in life, you could be the perfect lover, the perfect baker, the perfect looker, but it is when you find that you believe that your ability perfectly suits your life and fulfills your aspirations and gaols; that is when you are perfect. Other peoples opinions are subject to change based on your ability, but do not fear judgment, no human has the divine judgment to say who or what is perfect in all aspects. Ignore judgment, and perfect yourself. If you find true happiness, you have perfected the art of living.

Yes it's true b/c perfection for everyone is different. For me perfection can be when a person is tidy but for someone else perfection can depend on the way someone dresses.

I'm perfect, and I know a few other people that are as perfect as they can be without being me, so I would have to agree with you. There ARE some perfect people.

I understand what you are saying, and I agree with you but in a different manner. I do think nobody is perfect, and I consider imperfection to be the idiosyncrasy of each of us. It is what make us different and interesting! Perfection is boring, empty and fake.

perfection is described in many different ways. In some terms its never breaking a commandment. In others its getting the recipe just right most every time. Or what every mother and father should say their newborn child is. And when they do say their child is perfect, to what standard is the child being compared to?
