Why is it that we always fall for the movie stars. We never see their true personality. Most people don't, how can we love them if we don't even know them. The people we should really love is the people who wrote the script.......technically, they are the ones we are falling for.

When they present a character, it feels like we get to know them intimately, which is kind of intriguing. It's the same reason people fall for fictional characters in books, which happens more often than you may think.

It's the same reason we don't know anything about the people who made the recipe for Captain Crunch. It's the cereal and the cartoon character we love right? It's because of this thing we call marketing. The marketing machine is always behind the image of something -- not the substance of it. It's much easier to fall in love with the marketed and romanticized image of a pretty, surgically enhanced face and body with a fake name rather than somebody who is normal looking with a normal name.
We've gotten better, I think in a small way. We've come to appreciate music producers, and movie directors like Martin Scorcese, Steven Speilberg, and Mutt Lang, but we don't nearly idolize them as much as Julia Roberts and George Clooney.

I think is true of falling in love in general. We refuse to see any bad in the one we love. But if we do not accept the bad do we really love them? Something else to think about there.

more than likely we fall for the heroes in movies that we watch. and as human beings we find heroism to be attractive, as a female, I like the thought of being protected by someone. The heroes are also very loyal to their partners, which is something girls dig

A lot of reasons well a lot of the time coz they're drop dead gorgeous i.e why I'm over heels for Johnny Depp, we can sometimes see their personalities in interviews etc or we might admire their acting skills. It's all lust and lust can make you fall for anyone.
