Will all social ills finally be solved?

This is my understanding: Utility uses people as means to an end. So long as more people are benefited in the end, utility justifies any means.
Deontology puts more value in the individual. We must take just means in order to achieve just ends.
So, if we're maximizing deontology, would it just mean that we're doing whatever it takes to value the most amount of people- without devaluing the human worth of any individual? But you'd think that regular deontology would want to benefit the most people, as well.

God is dead. God remains dead. And we have killed him. How shall we comfort ourselves, the murderers of all murderers? What was holiest and mightiest of all that the world has yet owned has bled to death under our knives: who will wipe this blood off us? What water is there for us to clean ourselves? What festivals of atonement, what sacred games shall we have to invent? Is not the greatness of this deed too great for us? Must we ourselves not become gods simply to appear worthy of it?

"what are these churches now if they are not the tombs and sepulchres of God?"

when do you want it to end? how and why?

i think it will end in 2012 from global warming but i want it to end in 2013 so i can graduate first. also 13 is supposedly and unlucky number so it's cool if that will be when it all ends.

1) The Platypus has features of a bird(duck-like bill), a mammal(fur and beaver-like tail), a reptile(lays eggs and lives in water &land), an amphibian(webbed feet), and a fish(um, able to swim?). Of all earthly beings, surely the platypus is the most likely to be god.
2) The platypus has a bill that can detect electrical energy in nerve impulses AND has venom from a spur on its hind legs.
3) The platypus is one of the most intelligent beings on Earth. The fact that it evolved into how it is now is extraordinary. Platypi fossils have also been found, proving that it existed millions of years ago, its features brilliantly adapted to survive.

Although unlikely(very) that God exists, assuming that he/she/it did, wouldn't it be relatively logical and reasonable for me to speculate that God is a platypus?
No joking, think about it.

I don't get why fear is an important theme for both schools.

For example:
1) I won't litter.
2) I'll plant a tree.
3) I won't use a plastic bags when I shop.
It doesn't have to be anything major. The simpler the better. Think of it as being the change you want to see around you.

One who hurts children will never win,
God will avenge such an awful sin,
And set an example for all men,
To prevent this outrage from happening again.
What will these sinners say
On judgement day,
When they're at the gates
Where god patiently waits
And asked why they did what god hates.
They will pay, God won't delay
For the grave mistake they made
By having their way,
With defenseless creatures,
Who are taught to trust their teachers,
Whose natural dependence is betrayed,
And for one who hurts a child
The consequences won't be mild,
God will always avenge the pain of an innocent child.

these are quotes o found from the Kuran:
