If one was to do a good deed, and simultaneously do a bad deed, why would he automatically be a bad guy, if the good deed clearly far outweighed the bad, still the bad would outweigh the good no matter how good the good, and how insignificant the bad.

Good and bad - there is no fine line of distinction between the two. Good and bad exists in the mind. Since the mind is a reasoning faculty, it always distinguishes, it always divides, it analyses, it dissects, it doesnt look at the whole, but at its parts. The mind is not holistic - it doesnt see the whole, it concentrates on parts.

The heart which is the centre of love, does not bother what is good or bad. It accepts the whole of the human being. It does not discriminate between good and bad.

Our present system of education is engaged in training the mind, to make it more sharp. The education is not at all concerned with the training of the heart. So we are more in the head than in the heart. Mind has taken precedence over the heart as our present system of education caters only to the mind, it has no mechanism to train the heart.

And as you know , if you are more in the mind, away from the heart, you move towards evil, as evil is the characteristic of mind. It is never an attribute of the heart. So wherever there is evil, the bad outweighs the good. Evil exists in the mind, it never exists in the heart. The evil mind gets the training, the education, so it has got all the resources to become strong whereas the heart has nothing of that kind. It has been pushed to the corner. So naturally, one turn's a blind eye to all that belongs to the heart.

It is because the kundalini sakti normally remains in the moolathara, which is the abyss of the merudanda i.e. near the genitals. It is easier for the snake of the kundalini to remain languid in this pit. It requires a himalayan effort on the part of the aspirant to raise this up in the sushmna nadi. There is going to be many a fall on the way, until the sakthi reaches agna, where the sakthi merges with the Shiva. The distinction of good and bad goes away, as the baser consciousness merge with the higher consciousness.

I think it is because that when we do a bad deed it impacts more people than when we do a good deed. Plus so many have had many bad deeds done to them it is hard to counter the balance with good actions.

Nobody is totally bad. The thief needs to create trust from the victims before the attack. A corrupt judge would do as expected in ninety-five percent of his cases, so as to create a reputation, so as to catch the five percent unprepared.

There are far more penalties for bad acts , than rewards for good . Crime , such as murder , rape , bank robbing , etc ., catch the interest more than helping an old lady cross the street . Just human nature , I guess .

In the world of crooks, the bad people in authority, only bad thing pays and the good ones cornered, isolated and condemned.Promoting good is a threat to bad people .They have built a culture in which they can get away by being bad, they go unpunished or even punished after a long, long time, which is no deterrent for bad behaviour.

A rose with thorns...
I feel proud about my culture but when it comes to casteism then I shook my head down.

Are you undergoing some internal conflict?

The good and the bad within you is fighting each other and you want to know who will win?

The one whom you feed.
