For example, under visual arts, instead of Monet, I found a lot of technical questions about photography and digital cameras. And it's not just that the questions are technical, its that the people asking seem like seventh graders. "Has anyone read Black Beauty?" I am so sick of this I'm tempted to stay away but I want to know if anyone else feels this way.

Before you start thinking I'm some depressed 44 year old, I'm a happy 22 year old whose preparing for the future.

No matter how hard I try it seems I'm going to end up some paper pusher managing his 401K, this is my biggest fear. I certaintly don't want suicide, but I also don't want to become a useless cog in the machine that is bureaucracy.

In Buddhist thought, desire and craving (such as ambition and desire) are things best enjoyed in detached manner. In other means, it is best not to let such things consume and control you.

In American thought, a person with all consuming ambition is considered positive and that person would be considered driven.

This is rather silly of me to post this. I know no one will be able to answer it, but still it would be fun to hear the many answers I might receive. So I am unhappy. That is to say I feel lonely. I know why I feel lonely. Simply I am alone and there is no one who shares the same thoughts that I have. So I know why I am lonely, I want to know how I can escape the feeling of being lonely. Medication will not work for me. So anyone with any thoughts on what might give me joy, please tell me. I don’t have a car, cell phone, or the ability to go out on my own without permission (yes, what a pain). I’m still in high school. So anything that goes along those lines that might bring me happiness, please tell me. If anything works…I guess I’ll be happy.
